The
Government Affairs Committee of the Mitchell Area Chamber of Commerce will hold a public forum that will include representatives to discuss the pros and cons of the ballot issue as well as candidates for the Mitchell School Board and the Mitchell City Council.
The forum will be held on Tuesday, May 19, at the DWU Sherman Center beginning at 5:30 p.m. The event will open with a discussion of the ballot measure, followed by the Mitchell School Board candidates, and conclude with the City Council candidates. The forum is moderated by the Government Affairs Committee, and all candidates will be asked the same questions by our media panel and given equal time to respond.
The forum is free and open to the public - no RSVP required. Attendees will have an opportunity to submit questions to the media panel to be asked during the forum.
