Kiwanis Story Walk Celebration

Join us to celebrate the Story Walk at Patton Young Park on Sunday, April 19th, 2026 from 2 to 4 pm. The first Story Walk book was installed in November 2025 in time for our ribbon cutting and now we're ready to celebrate with the grand opening this project deserves with fun for kids of all ages - PLUS we'll unveil our next story! There's no cost to attend so bring the whole family and join us for a community party to welcome this exciting addition to Patton Young Park! This community project is a collaboration between the Kiwanis Club of Mitchell, Dakota Wesleyan University's Education Department, Mitchell Public Library and the City of Mitchell.
