The City of Mitchell Parks and Recreation Department announces a Public Forum on November 16th from 6:30 pm until 8:00 pm. PROS Consulting will be presenting the initial Master Plan Draft and soliciting Public Input during this event\; there will be an opportunity for public input during and after the presentation. Everyone from the public is welcome to attend. This is another opportunity for you to come and share your thoughts and ideas for Parks and Recreation in Mitchell\, SD. This will be the final public presentation before we finalize the Master Plan.
\n\nPROS Consulting was selected by the Parks Board to develop a comprehensive Master Plan for the Mitchell Parks and Recreation Department. PROS Consulting is a strategic master planning firm focusing on services in government agencies with specialized experience in parks and recreation and open space planning. Your input will help us develop a Master Plan for parks\, programs and facilities and develop goals\, policies and guidelines with achievable strategies for the next 10 years. When complete\, the Master Plan will be a valuable tool with information to guide the department and parks board in meeting the expectations of the community.
