DESCRIPTION:Join us at JVCC as Dr. Mike Farney from DWU provides entertaining instruction about the night sky.  Dr. Farney will provide a 30-minute inside presentation.  Since it will be too overcast for outside viewing\, we will postpone that portion of the event until Thursday evening.  We will meet again on Thursday evening at 9 p.m. and carpool outside to the north side of Lake Mitchell to the grassy area above Sandy Beach to use telescopes to become more closely acquainted with the night sky!  The public is invited.  If you have questions\, call 995-8048.
